Welcome Dr. Anding
Ighani Eye Care is honored to announce that Dr. Brian Anding has decided to join our team. He is a native Texan and comes from a long line of Texans on both sides of his family. He grew up in Dallas, attending St. Mark’s School of Texas and taking regular trips with his dad to hunt deer, dove and quail, among other native Texas game species.
Dr. Anding earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he earned his medical degree in 1986 with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Anding completed an internship in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas. He then returned home to Texas to start his career.
When he’s not working, he enjoys fly fishing, hunting and shooting sports. In addition, he enjoys cooking for his family and traveling.
“I am excited to be a part of the Ighani Eye Care team. With over 30 years of experience in ophthalmology, I am looking forward to many more. I am hoping to serve patients I have not been able to see in a while and help them transition to Ighani Eye Care.”

Ighani Eye Care opened in February of 2022 and is already growing. Dr. Ighani is excited for this journey with Dr. Anding by his side.
