In-Office Surgical Suite
There are many reasons to choose Ighani Eye Care for your cataract surgery and our state-of-the-art onsite surgical suite is at the top of the list. We have partnered with iOR Partners, an organization that is setting the standard in ophthalmic office-based surgery.
Cataract surgery performed in our in-office surgical suite offers the same high safety and sterility standards as a hospital setting or even at an offsite surgical center (commonly called an Ambulatory Surgery Center), but is more comfortable and convenient than both.
In what ways, you may ask, and it’s a great question. Cataract surgery in a hospital setting or at an ASC may require IV sedation and fasting beforehand. In our onsite surgical suite, our patients receive oral sedation, eliminating the need for needles and fasting, making the process more pleasant and the recovery faster.
